Gippsland Pro Wrestling presents "Revenge" on April 1st 2023 at the Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium!
The main event of the evening promises to be a highly anticipated match between two former friends, Andy Rhodes and FOX. At our last event, Rhodes shocked the crowd by hitting FOX with a vicious chair shot, ending their tag team match. Rhodes has stated that he's "sick and tired of being disrespected by FOX and his friends”, and this match will be one of the most heated matches in GPW history.
In addition to the main event, we have an exciting 4-way match which will determine who will be first and last entrant into the David Drane Memorial Rumble on June 3rd, which will feature the fastest rising star in Australian wrestling and local hero Owen Steadman. Steadman's impressive in-ring skills and fearless attitude have made him a crowd favourite, and he's determined to continue his winning streak at "Revenge."
Last year Aiden Miller earnt the chance to challenge for Mitch Waterman's GPW Championship except cruel fate intervened and due to COVID the event was cancelled. Miller believes he still has a right to his championship match.
With Waterman being unavailable for April 1st event "REVENGE" he has chosen Millers opponent, with the winner challenging for the GPW Championship at June event "Heroes Never Die"
Who has Waterman hand picked? None other the an Australian Wrestling Icon and legend, "The mad bastard" Krackerjak!
We'll also see the return of one of the biggest men in wrestling, Cousin Ali, who will be facing off against a Tommy Hellfire. With his massive size and powerful moves, Cousin Ali is always a force to be reckoned with in the ring.
